We need to decide/implement functions for the base. Right not we have automaton which gather resources. But there needs to be functionality to gather resources manually and to build resource gatherers or other structures.
I suggest for now we have
one button for each resource to manually gather each type of resource
one button for each resource to build a gatherer for that resource (which of course costs resources to build
one button for each resource to build storage building for that resource
and keep the explore button, which should return a random resource (maybe weighted by the abundance values?)
Additionally, (although this may be the topic for a future issue) we should do something similar to a dark room where it takes time to build things, and it takes time to explore/gather.
