Addresses Issue #1

Changes made:

Renamed directory "Data and initial R code" to "data_and_initial_r_code", and added it to Jekyll exclusion list so it is ignored when Jekyll does its build
Modified the Slate template in both _layouts/default.html and via _config.yml
