@MatthewAllan93 Can you reproduce this with a Vortex version installed directly (i.e. not using Scoop)? Make sure to uninstall the Scoop-provided version first using scoop uninstall vortex
.
When installing directly not using Scoop, the game extensions start and are enabled.
Seems related to junction points, https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/7579
The "workaround" for now appears to be launching the Vortex directly (for example, through ...scoop\apps\vortex\1.8.4\Vortex.exe
instead of using the current
junction, as the discussion above pointed out.
Hi, I have just installed Vortex and their seems to be a problem with the game extensions failing to start. I am not sure what the problem is to do with, but I thought I would let the contributors to the repository know about it.
