Hi @davidnixon, pasting slack response here:

The files are password protected and they left a note in gitignore saying it's up to the team. I was not sure, so I left it in.

They commented out the keystore by default in gitignore, so I left it in. https://github.com/Call-for-Code-for-Racial-Justice/Five-Fifths-Voter/blob/5e6d3392e0b0fb7eb89a94814099109c21560161/android/.gitignore#L54

Google signs the final bundle in the playstore. This keystore was a requirement for bubblewrap. I am okay either way.
