does/will it run barebones without anything except for an antenna attached to the pico?

Hi ! As this projects deals with high frequencies, I was planning on using an external oscillator to make the signal, it would be connected to an amplifier. I am not sure if the RP2040 has the correct ressources to achieve a high frequency (with proper harmonics levels) and high power output. Any suggestion is welcomed ! Best regards :)
