Instead of designing my own discrete headphone amp, I'm going to use TI's TPA6120A2. This will reduce development time as the solution won't require as much simulation or prototyping. This also guarantees a good level of performance, as the solutions recommended on the data sheet, and will base part of my design on, have been tested.
