I can confirm "pinch to zoom" is not working for me on Android 7, MediaTek device MT6735. The rest of the features works flawlessly, (not on 1.0.0-beta3.10 or 1.0.0-beta3.11)

EDIT: Sorry I just saw it was noted that it'll make an appearance from beta4 on wards.

pretty sure they abandoned this project.. i had to add my own forked pinch to zoom over a year ago

they never pushed it, but I've been using it for a couple years now at least
