Provisioning/setup

juju - I prefer this to vagrant as it supports local VMs, EC2 an tonnes of other providers, but uses a common config format for them
vagrant - using this already, pretty good but not suited to "production", by the looks of it

Web stuff

zend - Popular PHP framework. Widely used
Node - Javascript platform. Used by:
- Meteor - real time, full JS Stack web applications
- Express - widely used, lightweight web framework. Used by Candlefire, works pretty well.
