Given what you have learned about Git, why would you want to use Git in your classroom?

It's long overdue that I start benefiting more from the many tools GitHub provides for my classes. Making materials available to students, and managing assignments is just 1 of the many reasons I want to start using it.

It wasn't clear if I should answer in a separate comment but just in case I will take the chance to add that I've been using GitHub for my classes but haven't used the proper tools yet.
