Collapsing filter pane is laggish and does not have a smooth transition #129

When expanding the filters, there is a smooth transition. But when collapsing the dropdown, it is very sudden and doesn't transition well.

Reproduceable on both Chrome and Firefox

It is testing well on dev/stage.
