Michael Martin reports that the battery charger is not working and there is a faint burning smell in the saloon. Michael has charged the batteries using the motor and has shut down both 12V and 240V systems to minimise the risk of fire. The batteries are at 85% charge and will be well protected until the charger can be repaired.
The charger is a Y Power brand, 12V / 40A version
I'll contact a Marine Electrician in Southport on Monday
