Water maker boost pump is not working #545

@pjwain reports: The boost pump appears not to be working. When it is switched on, nothing happens. The main pump draws enough seawater on its own to make water in smooth sea conditions.

Hi Peter, there are 2 electrical wires connected to the boost pump. About 15 cm from the pump they are joined to another 2 wires. I was able to get the pump working by disconnecting, cleaning, and rejoining the wires at that junction. Perhaps I didn't do as good a job as I thought. Regards, Peter.

Peter,That’s exactly what I did and no change. They are certainly dodgy connections but no go for me that’s why I wanted a multimeter to check the voltage. Connectors have been renewed. Pump tested and working ok
