Crews should regularly check the condition of the batteries in the 3 dolphin torches, and replace from the spares when required, and likewise for the set of emergency/reserve navigation lights which use D cells. We now have plenty of spare batteries on board. We have two sets of reserve nav lights on board, in the locker with the grab bags.
