Mast cable glands leaking into forward vestibule

Water detected on floor in forward vestibule (space between forward shower and head). Leak emanating from cover under mast. When removed, was soaking wet with signs of mould. Water on wires going to mast through deck glands. Leak detected by 'wiggling' cables allowing more water to seep through.

Repair by replacement of rubber glands- difficult as wires have no breaks. Suggest use of sealant once gland dried out. Repair of wires in future would require gland to be removed and cables replaced.

Temporary repair with tape to try and deflect water away from cable gland. Monitoring.

Rectified by silicone sealant around inner cable and they deck fittings. Tested in light rain only.
