1 year ago "Notice to Skippers" issues are kept closed so as not to pollute the list of open maintenance issues. Once a Notice has been published a few times (and the related issue solved or appropriate SOP is updated) then the Notice label can be removed.
Closing this issue
The water can pressurise the aft tank which may cause problems with the water making process (see issue #675). Skippers are advised to remove the aft filler cap (port side helm foot locker) while making water. Don't forget to replace the filler cap when water making operations are completed.
