1 year ago Chris Anderson the rigger from Rope Solutions has lubricated the base of the mast where it sits on the compression post. The gooseneck and vang fittings have all be lubricated. Chris advises that the side stays should be tensioned by two turns when the boat arrives in Sydney after the delivery voyage from Southport.
Meantime, he asks that we video the stays under sail and send the footage to him for analysis should we have any question concerning the tuning of the rig. He said is has installed the rig "slightly overtight" as this is preferred for Bavaria's of this type.
We will close this issue for now but maintain a watch on the new rig.

Seems to only happen on a starboard tack. Very loud below. Please check mast step, gooseneck, vang pivots and other possible sources of noise
