Is this the Engine Bay Exhaust Fan that starts up before you start the engine? We replaced it in Nov 23 with an equivalent. Previous Issue #699 refers.
It was wired via a terminal block on the forward/port side bulkhead behind the exhaust trunk to make replacement easier next time. Has anyone checked the condition of the connections - Corrosion?/Loose? Check if exhaust trunk is free flowing, so not to load fan.
Replacement, if needed, VETUS extraction ventilator, 12 V, 6 A, 178 mm Part No. 18712 available from Boat Warehouse or similar.
Paul, Yes its that fan. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll see if skippers can check this.
