Legend for Nodes and Edges #9

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
We may add legends explaining what each node and edge glyph stands for,
considering the increased number of different glyphs. This can either be a
single legend dialog including information for both or separate dialogs for
each.

Very good idea. The legend can be prepared as a png image. I prefer to see a
single legend covering everything, like the SBGN PD reference card.

This is the first draft for the image, prepared based on glyphs I have observed
in graphs and BioPAX documentation. Any suggestions/corrections or are there
any missing types?

Looks very nice.

It is better not to call the last edge as "generic of" because it is from the
member to the generic. It can be "member of".

The label on the complex is "Complex" while all the other labels are "label".
That can be label too for consistency.

The interaction nodes "Control" and "Interaction" are little too large.
