3 years ago removing .dta extension should fix this. Maybe the sequence of actions did make some strange effects, anyway the use of the arguments should be robust til using extentions.
At least in the Finnish case the no files were moved into the oldfiles dir even if the survival working dir had files which would be overwritten. Removing .dta extension from files listed in extract_define_survival_data.do did not help.
