Gerrit eats my line-breaks in Opera 12 #1540

(I'm using Wikimedia's gerrit: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to add a comment to any changesets, either inline or as a review.
2. Make sure it contains line breaks.

I expect the linebreaks to stay where I put them; instead they disappear. (They 
are visible in the edit boxes, but not in the saved text.)

This bug only appears in Opera; I tested it on version 12.01. The only other 
browser I tested was Firefox and it worked fine there.
