Additional notes: This doesn't happen when using the context menu search; only with the popup. This is related to the different ways the selected text is acquired when using the popup vs the context menu. The latter gets the selection as formatted by the WebExtensions context menu API.

more examples have got. with popup and no proplem. Sincerely.
