This is primarily editorial cleanup and catching a few things that tripped me up when attempting to follow the instructions explicitly.
This definitely needs a technical review, as there are at least a couple of presumptive items and this is only partially tested because my validator is not even running yet (awaiting test tokens).
Summary of substantive changes:
Recommends ubuntu first from an accessibility perspective because more people are going to be familiar with it.
Just tells people to install make rather than listing it as optional.
Tells people how to install the binary.
Suggests people save their public key to a file.
Adds detail and description of <PLACEHOLDER> items (which needs a review for accuracy)
