Migrate to node dir #183

This is the attempt to fix this

I removed the walkDir as I probably made a small mistake somewhere when writing it and I would much rather trust a lib that has ~7M weekly downloads then my own code 😅

I could not reproduce the error from discord, but I do believe it was somewhere in walkDir. After this is merged we can ask the user if the problem was fixed or not.

I tested my changes.
