Finding a Contact does not support for partial word match #6

Command Used:

  1. add n\One Two Three p\123 e\123@abc.com c\classmate
  2. find n\Thre

Expected Output: 1. One Two Three, Phone: 123, Email: 123@abc.com, Category: classmate Current Output:

As a User, I would expect to be able to search for my contacts using just a partial match of the names, instead of whole words.

Team's Response

The UG did not say anything about finding using partial keyword. It would be a better feature to search using partial keyword but unfortunately that is not within our scope. The UG only stated that it will find "full name, first or last name". Also, this is a suggestion, not a bug.
