6 years ago The issue is actually built on two different things :
- [x] Werkzeug cache "now" (I can't find when it was introduced) has a file_count cache file ( https://github.com/pallets/werkzeug/blob/8393ee88aaacf7bcd3a0b1d604511f70c222df25/werkzeug/contrib/cache.py#L773-L781 ). This won't be cleared when FileSystemCache is cleared
- [ ] Flask Caching extension register fails under 1.3.x
As a general note, I set up cron job on Travis to check that bugs where not introduced by dependencies evolving
Temporary fix will be to stuck to 1.2.0
