Would contributions for improving search speed be appreciated? #29

The current string search approach is naive and is a cause of major slowdown. I imagine that with some effort, it could be optimized. Would contributions to optimize it be welcomed?

If so, could you please provide development instructions?

Its plenty fast enough, but if you think you can improve it please feel free to submit a PR
