My wife wanted this fixed so I went ahead and (mostly) got it working with the newer looking plugin fix style. Didn't bother with scale (its just got X/Y sliders) but figured I'd share what I did since it works well enough for anyone who'd rather have something than nothing.
Feel free to take this as a base and do the last 15% of the work to polish it up instead of accepting this, if desired.
