Future milestone of 1M total tonnes of Carbon Offsets added to CUT

Prize Bounty

500 USDC in total for this challenge (1st place - 400 USDC ; 2nd place - 100 USDC)

Challenge Description

When we first started CUT we were coming up with ideas how to start, how many offsets we need, and to what level we needed to keep growing. This future POAP is for the community celebration when we break that barrier and have officially made 1M tonnes available via CUT.

Submission Requirements

As with all 5 of our CUT challenges at POAPathon 2021, we highly encourage freedom in creating your submission. How to represent a green event, the burning / retirement of tokens backed by real carbon offsets. Perhaps it's a focus on the elemental aspect of climate change impact, or the precision and measurement of fully analyzing and offsetting values. The canvas is yours! Inclusion of CUT logo, POAPathon logo, all possible - but not design requirements.

Judging Criteria

We want to communicate the positive aspect of making true impact, and concrete trust in immutable environmental benefits. Representing such invisible value, like destroying harmful greenhouse gas, can be difficult to relate visually - judging will be open to a combination of general visual appeal, and unique representations of climate impact.

Winner Announcement Date

Following the lead of the event managers, winners will be announced after the close of the Gitcoin hackathon window (Friday Nov 17th).

In this design I wanted to do something special, because here I show the Paramo of Santurban, one of the natural wonders of our time, and like CUT this small piece of land, it is in charge of cleaning the CO2 from the air in a natural way. That taking advantage of this space that they are offering I wanted to make a tribute to this natural wonder, which at the moment is in danger threatened by the stupid minds that govern this country for this reason I want to immortalize it in this piece of art since it is possible that in some years we will not see him as he is now.
