What steps will reproduce the problem?

Follow the installation steps on the wiki. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException

at $Proxy9.getChildByName(Unknown Source)
at $Proxy25.hasPermission(Unknown Source)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

4.0.1 on Windows OS
