Getting Filter to work with Custom Datalists in 4.0 version of extension

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add custom Datalists
2.Filter Form is shows correctly
3.However does not filter datalist

Was wondering if there is additional configuration necessary to get the filter 
to apply to custom datalists.  

I have edited fme-extended-datalist-config-custom.xml  and the filter form 
displays fields as I'd like it to, But when apply a filer no results are 
displayed.  Any thoughts?
