.gml and .dot read are slow #31

This issue is probably due to ParserCombinator.jl: ref andrewcooke/ParserCombinator.jl#22

The problem is not fixed by #30

Would be nice to find a substitute for ParserCombinator.jl, since it is slow and not actively maintained
