User Story

• Researcher needs to disable context metadata validation so that they can design and run an experiment without providing context metadata.

Acceptance Criteria

• Scenario: Context metadata validation default

  • Given new installation of UpGrade, when defaults are set, then global context metadata validation is disabled.
  • Scenario: Context metadata validation is enabled
    • Given user has the admin role, global context metadata validation is set to disabled, when user enables global context metadata validation, then new and existing experiments are validated and context metadata updates may be received.

• Scenario: Context metadata validation is disabled

  • Given user has the admin role, global context metadata validation is set to enabled, when user disables global context metadata validation, then existing experiment validations are cleared and new or edited experiments will not be validated and context metadata updates cannot be received.
