It's great Carnet offers most if not all features of Google Keep.
But in my opinion the current implementation of ToDo-/Check-Lists could be improved.
Even without a normal text above the list there is a big blank space.
Each list item takes about 2x the space of an item in Keep
Both the top and bottom bar of the ToDo-List could be 30-50% smaller
Maybe both bars could be combined into one (with icons instead of text)
the elements inside a row are not vertically aligned.
Over all I personally would not need multiple ToDo-Lists or a text above a ToDo-List.
Just a title and one ToDo-List would be enough for me. Like Google Keep offers.
But that is just my preference.
I like to be able to add multiple lines in one list items. But I also like to add the next items by hitting ENTER.
The later would offer way to remove one bor button from the interface (see point 4)
Maybe there is a solution to have multiple lines and use ENTER for the next item?!
Here is a comparison between Carnet and Keep:
btw: You might want to have a look into Google Material Design.
There are best practices for button sizes, margins and many more useful tips.
