I am having the same issue. Installed SNAP amd64 latest/stable | 0.18.7 | 14 November 2019 on Linux mint 19.3 x64 Installed on same 192.168.1.0/24 LAN as Nextcloud 18 which is self signed SSL. The Carnet Android app 0.20.0-20200209 connects without issues using https://192.168.1.x However using the Linux app I get the continous circle and it never logs in to Nextcloud.
Any suggestions or anything you would like me to test or try?
Thanks.
Same issue here
I am thinking this could be a self signed certificate issue. PhieF, can you tell us how Carnet handles self sign certificates?
@andynz22, I have the same issue and my certificate is not self signed. This issue is specific to Snapcraft, if you install it the Appimage way it works fine. That's what i've done, so now it's ok for me.

Hm so you guess it comes from snap ? I will try that out, thanks
I have the same problem with Snap but AppImage works. Also some options in Snap is disabled, it seems it's out dated.
Hi, whenever I try to connect carnet to out nextcloud server all that happens is that the waiting animation keeps spinning without producing any result or error message. We do not use two factor auth. or any modified login method. The server uses https. Any advice would be appreciated. Carnet seems like the right replacement for Tomboy & Gnotes
