Not for now but it will one day be possible, since it is electron
You may be able to build the app for windows with :
npx electron-builder --x64 --win
To contribute a little, all I had to do to build under Windows:
npn install electron-builder-squirrel-windows
build/icon.ico
"squirrelWindows": {
"iconUrl": "http://path/to/valid/icon.png"
}
and based on @locness3 post
npx electron-builder --x64 --win
There are still some errors during build but setup file will be generated and the app (I didn't test everything) seems to run fine.
EDIT: What does not work with steps above:
Error occured: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'scrollLeft' of null
EDIT2: Sadly it seams that it will not sync properly. It will create folder structure but it will not sync any notes, additionally you are not able to change note path to point it to NC desktop app folder instead.
What I've been doing as a workaround if you use a Chromium based browser is if you right click on the desktop and make a new shortcut, paste in the path to that browser followed by "--app=" followed by the url of your carnet.
Example: "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --app=https://getcarnet.app/
Hey, I recently started using nextcloud and came across this note taking app.
On the download section, it only says that there is an Android Client and one for Linux. Is it also possible to install the electron client on Windows?
