I think the menu on the left is not intuitive at all.
"Browser"
This may be a translation issue for German, but what does "Browser" mean?
I guess this is the tab that displays all notes?!
Maybe this should be called "All" ("Alle") or "Overview" ("Übersicht").
menu structure
It really bothers me that the item "key words" ("Schlüsselwörter") is indented.
I would argue a top item should be left aligned and the sub items (each key word in this case) should be indented.
Like:
bold text
I also would suggest to make "Recent" ("Neuste") and "Browser" bold like "key words" ("Schlüsselwörter"), because they have similar function (show bunch of notes).
Or remove the bold style completely.
If the items are indented correctly there is no need to use font style to differentiate between top items and sub items.
Settings
I would put "Settings" ("Einstellungen") at the bottom of the menu, because you do not need this as often as the other items.
Icons
And I think some icons would greatly improve the menu.
Example:
see Nestcloud menu for reference
In general my thoughts are inspired by the official Nextcloud menu (and many other modern apps).
(Maybe "key words" is called "labels" in english. I did not check this.)
