Adding Analytics options to Account level in SF #186

Hey @ruipperez & @lissa-dieye

The SDRs (cc @SophieMarkus ) have already started using this new field during the qualification process at opportunity level:

@martagomezgandullo team are also including this info in their client success plans (e.g. Bain's one here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1mkSO3oBzEsqQu9ct-CncGxNV3LZ2g3vC8THBT2SiYck/edit?usp=sharing). The CSMs are capturing this valuable info about their databases and analytics workflows, which is great, but I'd love to have this for all our enterprise accounts so that I can keep a report where we see what our clients are predominantly using to:

a) share this info with product b) run campaigns in conjunction with partners for lead gen

Please could you let me know if this is possible?

sure Flo! are there any fields in SF that CSMs can translate this info from the success plans into?

Yes, but right now it's only at opportunity level, not account level (as far as I can see).

It's the one I've copied and pasted above called

ruipperez commented 4 years ago

mmm... An Account might have different opportunities that have different systems (Infra/Cloud, Analytics)... no? I'm not sure who this could work at Account level...

FloBroderick commented 4 years ago

@martagomezgandullo can you gather CSM feedback on this?

It's true that different opps have different cloud and analytics solutions in place.....

So maybe it's just a case of CSMs updating this for enterprise covered Closed Won opps for key accounts?

FloBroderick commented 4 years ago

Also @ruipperez , just noticed on this opp that when we save some options (in this case Amazon and ArcGIS) after you save you can't see it there: https://eu17.lightning.force.com/lightning/r/Opportunity/0061v00000evaFQAAY/view

image

Ideally this would be visible once it's saved so it's top of mind information for the AE / solutions engineer. Does that make sense?

ruipperez commented 4 years ago

@FloBroderick mmm... It should be visible... I can see Analytics is empty but Infra/Cloud has info on this particular opp...

I've moved the fields to be both together at the bottom of Stage 1, is that any better? Am I answering your question?

FloBroderick commented 4 years ago

That's the trick! thanks @ruipperez! Question answered!
