Stamp First and Last Campaign on Lead and Contact Object #351

Goal : be able to see the first and last campaign a lead interacted with, directly in the lead or contact object

Suggested to do: CREATE A RECORD TRIGGERED FLOW

Trigger: anytime a Campaign member is created OR the campaign member status changes
Then get the lead or contact attached to the campaigned member
if the First Campaign field is empty populate with the campaign related to the campaign member, else do nothing
update the Last Campaign field with the campaign related to the campaign memeber.

We would need to create 2 fields First Campaign and Last Campaign. Laura here maybe we could create Look up field type to enable to click and see directly the campaign.

how do you want to proceed with this @ruipperez ? Do you want us to work on the flow or do you take it on your side?

oooh, sorry, I definitely looked into this one too so I think somehow we skipped the reply! @Julien-Hennico If you can work on this, great! If not, we can look into this when Marta is back next week!

@Julien-Hennico Given that I was sick last week (and still am), we have some backlog. So if you can take this one, that'll be great. If not, I'll try to give you an estimate tomorrow on when we can work on this.

Hey @ruipperez I've heard that, sorry to hear :( This week The srpint is full so I won't be able to take it but I can block time to work on it next week if you don't have bandwidth. No problem!!

@Julien-Hennico Hi! We were looking at this in more detail today. My understanding is that we'd like to get visibility on the first & last campaign of a Lead/Contact. We'll see if we can copy these to Lead/Contact in a text field. We'd like to avoid creating lookup fields unless there is a very strong reason for it. Keep you posted!
