Accounts Not Working in Latest Version #12

The new Account system in Among Us v2021.3.31i is not working. When you click on sign in it throws the error: Failed! Something went wrong with creating your account. Please try again later. (Error UnsupportedPlatform)

Thank you for the report! I can confirm the same issue over here and, after waiting a few days for comments on Innersloth's itch.io/Discord, this appears to be a known issue. It's possible this may be working correctly with the Steam version, but I'm unable to check at the moment. For now, I believe guest access is possible. I will post an update to this ticket as information becomes available.

FWIW I’ve been manually packaging my own app using the WineskinServer fork and the Steam version for a long time. Completely different error using the Steam version, same result with regards to using accounts.

I thought they added some DRM related to Steam, but I guess it’s a more general issue.

@studentism Thank you the the additional info! Hopefully this is something they resolve on their end; they appear to be aware.

@CartoonChess Sorry to bother, not pushing for anything. Just curious because I haven't been keeping on top of Innersloth's updates. I'm guessing this is still an acknowledged unfixed issue on their end?

@studentism I can confirm this issue continues even with the latest build. Similar reports remain (including from Windows users) but it's difficult to say how widespread the issue is. At this time I can't dedicate resources to attempting to find a workaround, unfortunately.
