Widget does not display anything but border

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Had the widget running from last version
2. installed new version (2010-01-09)
3. ran Foursquare app
3. removed widget
4. added widget back

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to see a widget with similar layout, but it's just white with the
top and bottom (blue) border-- previous widget lower bar was black

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2010-01-09 on 1.6 CyanogenMod 4.2.12.2

The widget worked eventually after more than two eventual reboots, so never 
mind.

it only works 50% of the time, turns out. Anything I can do to troubleshoot 
otherwise,
