I'll try to finish the translation soon, but I cannot say when I will have some time again to work on this, that's why I'm requesting a merge now.

I have one question; there are several string of the type "cotton 1", "cotton 2", "cotton 3"... I have translated them keeping the numbers, but I see that in French and in German they stripped out the numbers and all of those string became just "Cotton". Which is the preferred way?

Thank you for providing translations for Minetest objects!! Regards Laura Arjona https://wiki.debian.org/LauraArjona

as far as l know only one cotton of them is available without cheating/developing

The numbered items are just for internal use to implement the different growth stages/levels. They are not regularly exposed to the user (except by explicitly giving yourself the item via /giveme or such), so they don't need to be translated.

:+1:

EDIT: Ninja'd by HybridDog.

In case there's foo1, foo2, ..., fooN entries, but no base foo entry, editing the first one should suffice.

EDIT2: In the case of the screwdriver, all entries are needed because all items are exposed to the user (in this case, it's the different screwdriver modes).

Thanks for the info. I have removed the numbers from the translations and translated some more strings. I hope I can finish the translation in two days or so. Feel free to merge now or wait a little bit so it's finished.
