CasparCG cant start it with network cable directly between computers #1189

When I start CasparCG it works for like 30 seconds after that it crashes with no warning and just disaper from the screen. It's the same error in 2.07 and 2.2 but in 2.2 I don't get any Exception. It's the same error both on my windows 10 laptop and my windows 7 caspar server computer.

I got this error code in 2.07 but in 2.2 I dont get any error code. UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Adress:0C288E57 Code:3221225477 Flag:0 Info:135DF9DC Continuing execution.

This happens when I connect my laptop to the caspar server computer direct with a network cable between the computers, then I don't have any internet on the caspar machine. When I remove the network cable and start caspar it works, and then I can put it back. Or if I remove the static DNS server adress from the network card. If I have deactivated the network card when I start caspar it works and then I can activate the network card again when caspar are up and running. Then everything are working, It's just during the starting moment the issue are.

I have experienced a similar thing. If you pull the network cable from the server where CasparCG Server runs, it can sometimes result in a CasparCG Server crash.

Have you tried setting a manual IP on CCG server as a workaround?

It doesn’t help with static ip or with dynamic ip...
