Pasting Text #5

I'm unable to paste into the search field nor into the middle of any text already in the chat text entry bar. Anything pasted will appear at the end of whatever's currently in the chatbar, regardless of where the cursor is. This might already be fixed; I saw something in the commit log about it, but it's not been built into a release yet.

I built the latest sources from today, and tested the pasting fixes. It's still not all there yet. Pasting into the middle of text in the chat entry field works, but I still can't paste into the search field.

Also, pasting over selected/highlighted text doesn't work properly. The selected text is not replaced with the ctrl-v paste, instead the pasted text is just added right before the selected section in the field.
