Unwanted closure of http server #8

When the instance hosting the HTTP server (usually the first) is closed, any other instances that rely on the host server will stop loading pages.

Bug was introduced in commit cdb99deeaaaee5e7b97b34c2cc18cc4ba1fa0c0b. A current workaround for the end-user is to open a new window.
