Understanding metrics. #98

How do I interpret the metric sent by cachet-monitor in the metrics graph? It is mentioned in the documentation that it posts lag to the graph. But can you please give me more information?

I think it is in ms if you go in cachet to your metrics and set it from sum to average you should be able to see things better.
