Faction Trade Balance Change #48

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I think that trade in general is completely imbalanced and interferes/destroys the loot game, of the most important parts of the game in my opinion. We had some amazing additions like category based item spawn rates, but what´s the point when you can get anything you want, day one for basically free?

Solution you would like.

Don´t know in what direction the solution should go. just some ideas:

Describe alternatives you have considered.

Ignore trade for some arbitrary RP reason.

Given when this fork was created, the "trust" thing already exists with some of the trading factions - it is very much noticeable with the Exodii (and it is also really cheesable too). Although with that being said, I think that it would be nice if they had different offers for things you could "trade with them" in exchange for completing missions or completing an arbitrary number of tasks for them instead.

I do still think that trading in goods is better than trading with a replacement currency because in the end people don't want "paper with number on it" if they are looking for food or for materials to craft something they need.

For instance, maybe instead of "random IOU bills" (merch) or coins, each faction would value things differently:

Although implementing this would mean a lot of work (something that I do not have the know-how to do myself, I am not an IT literate person), unless there is a way to outright add a blanket ban to factions buying certain categories altogether, although this would be very hacky. A fluctuating "value for item" per faction would be certainly too complex to ask for, and fiddling with bartering prices also seems a bit too hacky as well.

(these are just suggestions, however, they are in no way requests or counter arguments).
