Trust in data quality is key and ideally there is a general way at least for all contributing datasets to the CoL to indicate if an individual record has been reviewed by an expert. Questions to be addressed:
what gets reviewed/asserted?
an entire taxon with all its synonyms
a single name usage, i.e. synonym or taxon separately
each entity "record" in e.g. ColDP, i.e. type specimen, reference, name relation, vernacular name, etc
what data type is "reviewed". Is it a simple boolean, a date, an experts name (with an additional date?), a team of experts, free text vs ORCIDs, additional remarks, an enumeration (NOT REVIEWED, DOUBTFUL, CORRECT, ...)
how does this relate to scrutinizer and scrutinizerDate which we have in ACEF and ColDP already on the taxon level
