The name appears in combinations with different subgenus, and refer to a single accepted name: Nereis (Alitta) virens M Sars, 1835, Nereis (Neanthes) virens Sars, 1835 & Nereis virens Sars, 1835. This complies with CoL poicy and data structure.
Indeed, no duplication here Close please
There could be some misunderstanding by user about the different taxonomic concept of Nereis virens Rasmussen, 1973
but at least within Alitta virens (M.Sars, 1835) [SPECIES ACCEPTED] https://www.gbif.org/species/2315395
In the backbone, beyond the genus transfer and subgenus issue it looks to me like there's at least these two still mis-duplicated

Describe the problem:
A GBIF user has given the following feedback https://github.com/gbif/backbone-feedback/issues/343
