Aschitus bicolor is synonymous with Microterys bicolor according to CoL source #450

Describe the problem: A GBIF user has noticed that Aschitus bicolor appears as an accepted species on GBIF.org but should be a synonym of Microterys bicolor (issue: https://github.com/gbif/backbone-feedback/issues/487). The taxonomy is derived from the Universal Chalcidoidea Database, where the species appears to be a synonym as the user stated

Unfortunately, UCD didn't submit any updates to the CoL since 2007.

It seems the database was updated in 2019. Shall I contact them and see if they would be able to provide updates to CoL?

It will be enough to notify UCD about this ticket, if you have a contact person for UCD.

We unfortunately do not have direct contact, so I have contacted the webmaster responsible for the online databases and hope for a positive response ✌️

Keep fingers crossed. At least, my invitations to update UCD had no positive response in last 4-5 years.
