The ID not unique issue is caused by duplicates in the Name.tsv export. We know about it, but other issues have been higher priority to fix because the importer won't import the duplicate lines anyway.

This issue of Scotolemon espanoli might be an error of TW. Because espagnoli is an original incorrect incorrect spelling.

There is another question: "basionym" as far as I know is a term used in Botany. For Zoology there is nothing in ICZN, but a proposal by Dubois (2000) to use the name protonym.

Inconsistent names = are they all subgenera? = I'm not sure there is anything incorrect in WCO. Parsed name differs = are all records of misspelling = I think they are OK.

In the case of the genera without types after 1930 I discovered that I needed to add some explanation, look here: Originally (wrong): [image: image.png] [image: image.png] Now (corrected): [image: image.png] Without validation error messages!!! Yay! So... I will need to fix all the cases -- it's gonna take some time...

I think I have resolved all issues of the unavailable generic names published after 1930 without type. You should not have problems with this, I guess...

The case of Zachaeus kervillei is an error of export by TW. There is (1) a protonym, which is this species, with the original comb. and (2) A combination -- which, in my Duboisian language would be an aponym. Both obviously refer to the same OTU. They shouldn't be "duplicate names". The TaxonWorks team should correct that.

"cavernarus" was an original incorrect spelling -- people that don't know Latin declensions and didn't bother to check. They ended up creating a mock inflexion that doesn't exist. It is a name in the genitive case, not an adjective which would have to agree with the gender of the genus.

They are not errors (in your checklist).

Reports are catching "general" issues for further assessment: some of reported cases are "legal", others may need corrections. For example, names with diacritics in synonymy (names, as they were originally published) are fine, but diacritics in accepted names are recommended for corrections.

I have deleted ITIS sectors in Opiliones in CoL@clearinghouse, and deleted order Opiliones as subtree. My drag&drop Opiliones from WCO (2256), is failed due to bug in drag&drop option. Order Opiliones supposed to be a child in subclass Arachnida.
